  • 100 g feta cheese, crumbled Can substitute with goat cheese or halal cream cheese.
  • 1/4 cup honey Drizzle over filled pears.
  • 1/2 cup cranberries (fresh or dried) Generously sprinkle into each pear half.
  • 1/4 cup walnuts (optional) Adds crunch and aroma.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Wash the pears thoroughly and cut them in half. Use a spoon or melon baller to scoop out the core, creating a small well for the filling.
  3. Place the pear halves cut-side up in a greased baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese and cranberries generously into each pear half.
  5. Carefully drizzle honey over the filled pears.
  6. If desired, sprinkle with walnuts and a dash of cinnamon.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the pears are tender and slightly caramelized on top.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For freezing, wrap each baked pear individually and store in a freezer bag for up to 2 months. Reheat gently to retain texture.
