Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully halve the peaches and remove the pits without damaging the fruit. Lay them cut-side up in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar-cinnamon mix generously over each peach half.
- Place a small piece of butter on top of each peach half.
Baking
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and let the peaches bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until they’re fork-tender.
Serving
- Remove the peaches from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes or microwave for 1-2 minutes.
