Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the peaches in half and remove the pits. Lightly score the flesh with a knife if desired.
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon together.
- Place the peach halves cut-side up in a baking dish. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over them and add a small cube of butter on top.
Baking
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, until tender and bubbly.
Serving
- Let the baked peaches cool for a moment and serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
