Ingredients

For the pancake
  • 4 large large eggs Use fresh eggs for the best results.
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Good-quality flour is recommended.
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted) Melt before using.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with a bit of butter or cooking spray.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs until frothy, then add the milk, flour, sugar, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix until you achieve a smooth batter—lumps are okay!
  4. Carefully pour the melted butter into the baking dish, then immediately pour the batter over the melted butter.
  5. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pancake is puffed and golden brown on the edges.
  6. Once baked, remove from the oven and serve immediately with your choice of toppings.

Notes

For the best results, use fresh ingredients. Don't open the oven while baking to prevent deflation. Experiment with toppings like mixed berries, sliced bananas, or honey.
