Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Generously grease a baking dish with butter.
- In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and add heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth.
- Stir in the grated cheese, ensuring it's evenly distributed.
- Pour the egg mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Baking
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes, until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
Serving
- Once out of the oven, sprinkle fresh chives or parsley on top before serving.
- Allow to cool for a minute before slicing and serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes.
