Ingredients
  

For the Casserole
  • 8 ounces Spaghetti, cooked al dente Follow package instructions for cooking time.
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened Make sure it is at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce Choose your favorite brand or homemade version.
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded Can substitute with other cheese types.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh garlic yields the best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning Adjust according to taste.
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh Basil, optional, for garnish Use fresh for the best flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, boil water and cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, marinara sauce, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gently fold the cooked spaghetti into the cream cheese mixture until evenly coated.
Assembly
  1. In a greased baking dish, spread half of the spaghetti mixture. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top.
  2. Add the remaining spaghetti mixture and top with the remaining cheeses.
Baking
  1. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or frozen for up to 3 months. When reheating, place in the oven at 350°F until heated through.
