  • 4 pieces chicken breasts You can use turkey or other compliant alternatives.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice) Choose your preferred type of cheese.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Ensure they're fine for best results.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the chicken breasts on a clean cutting board. Optionally pound them for even cooking. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken, then coat each piece with the breadcrumb mixture.
Cooking
  1. Arrange the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. About 5 minutes before finishing, sprinkle the shredded cheese over the chicken.
  3. Once the cheese is melted and bubbly, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven for best texture.
