Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 whole whole Brie cheese (8 ounces) Opt for high-quality Brie for the best results.
  • ½ cup red pepper jelly Feel free to use homemade for an extra touch!
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts Optional
  • 1 clove garlic, minced Optional
  • Fresh herbs for garnish Optional
  • Crackers or sliced baguette for serving

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the whole Brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Optionally slice the top rind for better jelly penetration.
  3. Spoon the red pepper jelly over the top of the Brie. Optionally sprinkle minced garlic and chopped nuts for added crunch.
Baking
  1. Bake the cheese for about 10-15 minutes, or until bubbly and warmed through but not overflowing.
  2. Carefully remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
  3. Serve with your favorite crackers or toasted baguette slices.

Notes

Avoid overbaking the Brie; it should be soft and melty. You can experiment with different jellies like apricot or cranberry for variety. If you have leftovers, cool completely before covering with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 3-4 days. To reheat, place back in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
