For the baked brie
  • 1 round round of brie cheese (approximately 8 oz)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup dried figs, chopped
  • 1/4 cup pistachios, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unwrap the brie cheese and place it in an oven-safe dish. Optionally, score the top in a crisscross pattern.
  3. Drizzle half of the honey over the brie. Sprinkle chopped figs and pistachios on top, followed by the remaining honey.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is warm and soft but not fully melted.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven and, if using, sprinkle with fresh rosemary. Serve immediately with baguette or crackers.

Notes

Choosing a soft and creamy brie is key for the best melting quality. Feel free to experiment with different nuts or dried fruits. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
