  • 1 wheel Brie cheese (about 8 ounces) Choose high-quality Brie for the best melting results.
  • 1/3 cup fig jam Feel free to swap for other fruit jams if desired.
  • 1/2 cup pecans (chopped) Distribute evenly over the jam.
For Serving
  • 1 baguette or crackers For dipping.
  • to taste Fresh rosemary or thyme Optional garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the wheel of Brie on a baking dish or oven-safe skillet. Optionally slice the top rind off the Brie for more jam penetration.
  3. Spread the fig jam generously over the top of the Brie, covering it completely.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly over the fig jam.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is soft and gooey.
Serving
  1. Once baked, carefully remove from the oven, garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme if desired, and serve immediately with slices of baguette or crackers for dipping.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 days, and reheat in the oven. You can also freeze before baking and consume within 2-3 months.
