  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Filling
  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples Use your favorite apple variety.
For Dusting
  • Powdered sugar Optional for dusting before serving.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, ground cinnamon, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently to combine. Be careful not to overmix!
  5. Gently fold in the peeled and diced apples.
  6. Using a ladle or spoon, drop the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each fritter.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the fritters turn golden brown.
  2. Allow the fritters to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days. For longer storage, freeze them in a single layer and transfer to a freezer-safe bag for up to a month. Reheat in the oven at 300°F (150°C) for about 10 minutes.
