  • Salt and pepper to taste Don't skimp on seasoning.

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe avocado using a fork until it reaches a creamy consistency.
  2. Add the drained tuna to the mashed avocado and ensure it's well combined.
  3. Incorporate the finely chopped onion and diced celery into the mixture for a delightful crunch.
  4. Pour in the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. Mix until everything is well blended.
  5. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  6. Serve immediately on whole grain bread, with crackers, or on a bed of fresh greens.

Notes

To preserve the avocado's color, serve immediately or squeeze extra lemon juice on top. Best enjoyed cold, do not reheat. If browning occurs, give it a good stir before serving.
