Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 2 large apples (such as Honeycrisp or Fuji) Choose sweet apples that hold their shape well.
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional) Use if you prefer a sweeter flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Helps to prevent browning and adds flavor.
  • as needed Cooking spray or parchment paper To prevent sticking on the baking sheet.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash the apples thoroughly. Core and slice each apple into wedges (about 8 wedges per apple).
  3. In a large bowl, toss the apple wedges with lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon until evenly coated.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly spray with cooking spray. Spread the apple wedges in a single layer without overlapping.
Baking
  1. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, flipping the wedges halfway through. Keep an eye on them to ensure they don’t burn.
  2. Once golden brown and crispy, take them out of the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
Serving
  1. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or enjoy as-is!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To retain crispness, reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
