Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped apples and pecans, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into your prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  2. Bake for about 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Notes
