Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel, core, and slice your apples into thin pieces. Arrange them evenly in a greased baking dish.
Making the Topping
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Add the softened butter and mix until you achieve a crumbly texture.
Assembly and Baking
  1. Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the sliced apples.
