Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel, core, and slice your apples into thin wedges. Place them into a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture over the sliced apples, tossing to coat evenly.
- Spread the spiced apples evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix together the granola, flour, melted butter, and salt until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the topping generously over the arranged apples.
Baking
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Pair with whipped topping or your favorite ice cream.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes until heated through.
