Method
 

Cooking the Oats
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine oats, milk, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. Stir in honey, vanilla extract, and almond extract. Allow the mixture to cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are creamy and tender.
Preparing the Almonds
  1. In a separate pan, melt the butter or coconut oil over low heat.
  2. Add the sliced almonds and toast for a few minutes until golden brown, stirring frequently.
