Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (about 6 oz each, skin on or off as preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 pieces Fresh lemon wedges (for serving)
Optional Toppings
  • Fresh dill or parsley
  • Sliced almonds
  • Lemon-garlic butter sauce

Method

Preparation
  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel to help achieve crispiness. Optionally, leave the skin on for extra crunch.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture onto both sides of the salmon fillets, ensuring even coverage.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8–10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  2. Remove the salmon from the air fryer and let it rest for a minute before serving.
Serving
  1. Serve with fresh lemon wedges and your choice of optional toppings.

Notes

For optimum crispiness, ensure the salmon is thoroughly dried before seasoning. Thicker fillets may require a few extra minutes in the air fryer. Cook in batches to avoid overcrowding. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
