Preparation
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel to help achieve crispiness. Optionally, leave the skin on for extra crunch.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture onto both sides of the salmon fillets, ensuring even coverage.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Cooking
- Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8–10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove the salmon from the air fryer and let it rest for a minute before serving.
Serving
- Serve with fresh lemon wedges and your choice of optional toppings.
Notes
For optimum crispiness, ensure the salmon is thoroughly dried before seasoning. Thicker fillets may require a few extra minutes in the air fryer. Cook in batches to avoid overcrowding. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
