Main ingredients
  • 2-3 medium sweet potatoes Choose firm and colorful potatoes.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Can substitute with avocado oil.
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • optional paprika or garlic powder For added spice.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash and peel the sweet potatoes, then cut them into evenly-sized cubes, approximately 1-inch.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the sweet potato cubes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings until well coated.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned sweet potato cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  2. Check for desired crispiness and adjust cooking time as necessary.
Serving
  1. Remove the sweet potatoes from the fryer once golden brown and let them cool for a few minutes.
  2. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes. For freezing, season and freeze cubes before cooking, then air fry without thawing, adding extra time as needed.
