Ingredients

For the Potatoes
  • 2 pounds baby potatoes, halved or quartered You can use Yukon Gold, red potatoes, or sweet potatoes as alternatives.
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil Can substitute with avocado oil.
  • 1 teaspoon salt To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon pepper To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh herbs (optional, e.g., rosemary or thyme) For garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash and dry the potatoes thoroughly. Cut them into halves or quarters, depending on their size.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the halved potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well until all the potatoes are evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding for even cooking.
  3. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even crisping.
  4. Check for doneness; potatoes should be golden brown and fork-tender. If not crispy enough, air fry for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from the air fryer and toss with fresh herbs if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different flavors and toppings. Remember, don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket for the best results!
