Ingredients

Pizza Pocket Ingredients
  • 1 package pizza dough Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices (Halal)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup marinara sauce for dipping

Method

Preparation
  1. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface until it’s about ¼ inch thick.
  2. Use a pizza cutter or knife to cut the dough into squares (about 4 inches).
  3. On one half of each square, layer a few slices of pepperoni, a generous amount of mozzarella cheese, and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.
  4. Fold the dough over to create a triangle shape. Press the edges firmly to seal the pockets. For extra security, use a fork to crimp the edges.
  5. Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and preheat for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the pizza pockets in a single layer, ensuring they’re not touching, and spray the tops lightly with oil.
Cooking
  1. Cook for 7-10 minutes or until they’re beautifully golden brown.
  2. Let them cool for a minute before serving with marinara sauce for dipping. Enjoy that crispy bite!

Notes

Feel free to substitute pepperoni for turkey, chicken, or vegetables. Preheating the air fryer is key for achieving perfect crispiness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for a month. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes until hot and crispy.
