Ingredients

Pasta Chips Ingredients
  • 8 oz pasta (shells, rotini, or any preferred type) Choose fun pasta shapes that hold up well.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese (optional) Sprinkle on after cooking for optimal melting.

Method

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Cook your chosen pasta according to package instructions in salted boiling water. Drain and let the pasta cool for a few minutes.
Seasoning the Pasta
  1. In a large bowl, toss your cooled pasta with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well-coated.
Air Frying the Pasta
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned pasta in the air fryer basket in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
  2. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. Keep an eye on them during the last few minutes to prevent burning.
Serving the Chips
  1. If using Parmesan cheese, sprinkle it on the pasta chips right after removing them from the air fryer for optimal melting.
  2. Let them cool slightly, then serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or simply enjoy them as they are!

Notes

Substitutions: Try different spices like paprika or Italian seasoning for a flavor kick, or use vegan cheese for a dairy-free option. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes to restore crispiness.
