Ingredients

Donut Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup yogurt (any flavor you prefer)
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Filling and Cooking
  • 1/2 cup jelly (for filling)
  • as needed cooking spray (for air frying)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C) and lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, and baking powder. Mix well.
  3. Fold in the yogurt and mix until a dough forms. The dough should be slightly sticky but manageable.
  4. Dust your hands with a bit of extra flour and take small portions of dough, rolling them into balls and flattening them slightly to create a donut shape.
  5. Use your finger to make an indentation in the center of each donut for the jelly filling.
  6. Spoon a bit of jelly into the indentation of each donut, being careful not to overfill.
Cooking
  1. Place the donuts in the preheated air fryer basket and air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  2. Once done, allow the donuts to cool slightly before serving.
  3. Dust with powdered sugar or add any topping of your choice.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes to refresh their flavor.
