Preparation
- Start by selecting your favorite bread, whether it’s brioche, sourdough, or whole grain, and cut it into slices if necessary.
- Spread a thin layer of butter (or Halal-friendly alternative) evenly on one side of each slice. Make sure the butter is soft, so it spreads easily!
- On the opposite side of the bread, drizzle a tablespoon of honey on each slice. If you like, sprinkle some cinnamon on top for an added flavor kick!
- Place the slices in the air fryer basket, buttered side up. Ensure there’s enough space between each slice for even cooking.
- Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for about 6-8 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Once done, remove the toast carefully. If you’re feeling adventurous, top it with chopped nuts or fresh fruit for a delightful finishing touch.
- Finally, serve your Air Fryer Honey Toast warm and enjoy the delightful textures and flavors!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To reheat, pop it back in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes at 350°F (175°C). For freezing, wrap each slice in plastic wrap and foil, and keep in the freezer for up to a month.
