Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Whisk these together until well blended.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter until smooth.
- Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined; be careful not to overmix!
- Scoop a tablespoon of the dough and roll it into a ball. Repeat this process until all the dough is used.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the donut balls in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd them. Cook for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- Once cooked, remove the donut balls from the air fryer and immediately roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat thoroughly.
- Let them cool for a few minutes before serving warm. Enjoy every bite!
Notes
For gluten-free options, swap all-purpose flour with a gluten-free blend. Store leftover donut balls in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature or refrigerate for up to a week.
