  • 1 piece onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
Spices
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For Serving
  • Tortillas for serving

Method

Preparation
  1. Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips. Then, slice the bell pepper and onion.
Marination
  1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, sliced peppers, onion, olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix everything well, ensuring that all ingredients are coated with the marinade. Allow to marinate for about 10 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Once preheated, place the marinated chicken and veggies in the air fryer basket in an even layer.
  3. Cook for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  4. Ensure the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
Serving
  1. Remove the cooked fajitas and serve immediately with warm tortillas and your favorite toppings.

Notes

For substitutions, consider using beef strips or shrimp. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket for even cooking.
