Preparation
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) to ensure even cooking.
Garlic Butter Mix
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and garlic powder until well mixed.
Tortilla Preparation
- Lay out the tortillas and brush one side of each with the garlic butter mixture.
Cheese Layer
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese on the unbuttered side of one tortilla and add any desired additional toppings.
Assemble
- Place the second tortilla on top, buttered side out, and gently press down.
Air Frying
- Place the tortilla sandwich in the air fryer basket and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and the cheese has melted, flipping halfway through.
Serve
- Remove from the air fryer, let sit for a minute, then slice into wedges and sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
To store leftovers, wrap tightly and refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 1 month. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 3-5 minutes.
