  • 1 piece pizza dough (store-bought or homemade) Choose based on preference.
Toppings
  • 1 cup pizza sauce Use your favorite pizza sauce.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Feel free to adjust cheese quantity to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Enhances flavor.
Miscellaneous
  • 1 spray olive oil spray To prevent sticking in the air fryer.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a clean surface to your preferred thickness.
  3. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil to prevent sticking. Place the rolled-out dough into the basket.
  4. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a bit of a border for the crust.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously on top.
  6. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the cheese.
Cooking
  1. Close the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  2. Once cooked, carefully remove the pizza and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a healthier version, try using a cauliflower or whole wheat crust. Keep an eye on your pizza around the 8-minute mark as air fryer models may vary. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5-8 minutes.
