Preparation
- Start by rinsing the shrimp under cold water and patting them dry with a paper towel.
- In one bowl, place the flour. In a second bowl, beat the eggs, and in a third bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each shrimp into the flour, shaking off any excess. Then, dunk it into the beaten egg before finally coating it in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and spray the basket lightly with cooking spray.
Cooking
- Arrange the breaded shrimp in a single layer in the basket, leaving a little space in between each.
- Air fry the shrimp for about 8-10 minutes, flipping them halfway through until they are golden and crispy.
Serving
- Once done, take the shrimp out and allow them to cool slightly. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or a fresh side salad.
Notes
For a richer flavor, soak your shrimp in milk and lemon juice for 10 minutes before breading. Ensure to coat the shrimp evenly and check for doneness towards the lower end of the cooking time.
