For the apples
  • 4 medium medium apples Choose your favorite apple variety for the best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine Use a halal-friendly alternative if desired.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash and slice the apples. Optionally, peel them for a softer texture.
  2. In a bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice to create a glaze.
  3. Toss the apple slices in the sugar and cinnamon mixture until well coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place the coated apples in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded.
  6. Air fry for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  7. Drizzle melted butter over the apples and toss gently to combine.
  8. Serve warm on their own or add toppings of your choice.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 5 minutes or in the microwave for 30 seconds.
