Preparation
- Wash and slice the apples. Optionally, peel them for a softer texture.
- In a bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice to create a glaze.
- Toss the apple slices in the sugar and cinnamon mixture until well coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the coated apples in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded.
- Air fry for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
- Drizzle melted butter over the apples and toss gently to combine.
- Serve warm on their own or add toppings of your choice.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 5 minutes or in the microwave for 30 seconds.
