  1. Wash and dry the apples thoroughly. Core and slice them into thin wedges, about ¼ inch thick.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Mix well until blended smoothly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, toss the apple slices with the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated.
Cooking
  1. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  2. Place the coated apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
  3. Set the air fryer to 350°F (about 175°C) and cook the apple fries for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  4. Check for tenderness and a golden-brown exterior before removing.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy with your favorite toppings or plain.

Notes
