  • 1 can (15 oz) refried beans Serves as the foundation.
  • 1 cup guacamole Can substitute with a plant-based variant.
  • 1 cup sour cream Greek yogurt can be used for a healthier twist.
  • 1 cup salsa Choose your desired spice level.
Fresh Toppings
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or Mexican blend.
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives Optional garnish.
For Serving
  • 1 bag tortilla chips For dipping.

Method
 

Assembling the Dip
  1. Start with a serving dish or a glass bowl. Spread the refried beans evenly at the bottom.
  2. Spoon guacamole gently over the beans and use a spatula to smooth it out.
  3. Add sour cream atop the guacamole layer. Optionally mix in taco seasoning.
  4. Spoon salsa in an even layer, taking care not to disrupt the layers below.
  5. Sprinkle shredded lettuce over the salsa, followed by diced tomatoes.
  6. Add a layer of shredded cheese for creaminess.
  7. If using, sprinkle sliced black olives on top as garnish.
  8. Serve the dip with tortilla chips for dipping.

Notes

Assemble the layers right before serving for optimal freshness. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2-3 days. Enjoy chilled or experiment with a warm dip twist.
