Ingredients
  

For the pizza
  • 1 tortilla 1 tortilla
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • to taste Toppings of your choice (vegetables, Halal-friendly pepperoni, etc.) Ensure toppings are Halal-compliant.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Lay the tortilla flat on a baking sheet if using the oven, or directly onto the skillet.
  3. Spread 1/4 cup of pizza sauce evenly over the tortilla, leaving a little space around the edge for the crust.
  4. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce.
  5. Add your favorite toppings such as vegetables or Halal-friendly pepperoni.
Cooking
  1. For the oven method, place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and cook for about 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. For the skillet method, cover the skillet and allow it to cook for about 5 minutes, checking occasionally to prevent burning.
Serving
  1. Once cooked, remove the tortilla pizza from the oven or skillet, allow it to cool for a minute, slice into wedges, and serve hot.

Notes

Experiment with substitutions like using a gluten-free tortilla or adding fresh herbs after cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze wrapped slices for a month. Reheat in a skillet or oven to maintain crispy crust.
