- Hull the strawberries by removing the green tops and any blemished areas, then wash them in cold water.
- In a blender, combine the hulled strawberries, sugar, water, and lemon juice. Blend until completely smooth.
- Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired. Blend again if you make adjustments.
- Pour the mixture into an airtight container and place it in the freezer for about 2 hours, or until partially frozen.
- After it has set, use a fork to scrape and fluff the sorbet, ensuring a light and airy texture. Return it to the freezer for another 2 hours, or until firm.
- Scoop out servings and optionally dress them with your favorite toppings.
Notes
For a mixed-berry sorbet, experiment with other berries like blueberries or raspberries while maintaining the same ratios. Ensure that you fluff your sorbet after the initial freeze to prevent ice crystals.
