Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a standard loaf pan with vegetable oil or non-stick spray.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and sugar. Stir together until mixed.
  4. Add the vegetable oil and freshly squeezed lemon juice to the dry ingredients. Mix until thoroughly combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for about 40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let the loaf cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack. After cooling, drizzle with your favorite glaze.
