Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a standard loaf pan with vegetable oil or non-stick spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and sugar. Stir together until mixed.
- Add the vegetable oil and freshly squeezed lemon juice to the dry ingredients. Mix until thoroughly combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for about 40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the loaf cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack. After cooling, drizzle with your favorite glaze.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Refrigerate for up to a week or freeze slices for up to 3 months. Allow slices to reach room temperature or microwave briefly before serving.
