Ingredients

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup self-rising flour Can substitute with all-purpose flour mixed with baking powder.
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar For glazing.
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a mini muffin pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of self-rising flour and 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt. Stir until a soft dough forms.
  3. Gradually mix in 1/4 cup of sugar. Form the dough into small balls, roughly 1 inch in diameter, and place them in the prepared muffin pan.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Glazing
  1. While the donut holes are cooling, prepare your glaze by mixing the powdered sugar with a tablespoon or two of warm water until smooth.
  2. Once the donut holes are cool enough to handle, dip each one into the glaze until fully coated, then set aside on a wire rack.

Notes

For variations, consider adding toppings like shredded coconut, chopped nuts, or a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to a week. Reheat in the oven for the best texture.
