Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a mini muffin pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of self-rising flour and 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt. Stir until a soft dough forms.
- Gradually mix in 1/4 cup of sugar. Form the dough into small balls, roughly 1 inch in diameter, and place them in the prepared muffin pan.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Glazing
- While the donut holes are cooling, prepare your glaze by mixing the powdered sugar with a tablespoon or two of warm water until smooth.
- Once the donut holes are cool enough to handle, dip each one into the glaze until fully coated, then set aside on a wire rack.
Notes
For variations, consider adding toppings like shredded coconut, chopped nuts, or a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to a week. Reheat in the oven for the best texture.
