  • 1 box yellow cake mix Use gluten-free cake mix for a gluten-free version.
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 pieces eggs Make sure they are at room temperature.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Blend thoroughly until you achieve a smooth batter.
  3. Gently fold in the cherry pie filling into your cake batter.
  4. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or a light coat of oil.
  5. Transfer the batter into the greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Baking
  1. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Serving
  1. Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes
