  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  1. Grab a microwave-safe mixing bowl. Use glass or ceramic—avoid metal.
  2. In the bowl, combine 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips and 1 can of sweetened condensed milk. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  3. Microwave the mixture on high for 30 seconds. Stir thoroughly after 30 seconds.
  4. Microwave for another 30 seconds if needed, stirring after each interval until the mixture is smooth.
  5. Pour the fudge into a lightly greased or parchment-lined dish and spread evenly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is set.
  7. Once firm, cut it into squares and enjoy.
