Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the yogurt and sugar. Mix well until fully combined and the sugar starts to dissolve.
  3. Gradually add the flour into the yogurt mixture. Stir gently until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Grease a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
  5. Pour the cake batter into the prepared baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Baking
  1. Place it in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Once done, allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
