Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces ripe bananas Ripe bananas are sweeter and ideal for this recipe.
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder Ensure you're using quality cocoa powder for the best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter Use natural peanut butter without added sugars for a healthier alternative.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add cocoa powder and peanut butter to the mashed bananas and mix until fully combined and smooth.
  4. Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the lined baking dish and spread evenly with a spatula.
  6. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, checking with a toothpick in the center; it should come out clean.
  7. Let the brownies cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing them into squares.

Notes

For the best results, use very ripe bananas and avoid overbaking. These brownies can be topped with nuts or coconut for added texture.
