Method
Preparation
- Start by gathering all your ingredients. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season them with salt and pepper.
Cooking the Sauce
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in your honey, stirring to combine it with the garlic-infused butter. Let it simmer for about 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
Cooking the Salmon
- Push the sauce to the sides of the skillet and place the salmon fillets, skin side down, in the center. Cook for about 4-5 minutes.
- Spoon the sauce over the top while cooking. Carefully flip the fillets halfway through and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until they reach your desired doneness.
Serving
- Once cooked through, remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy this dish with steamed vegetables or a fresh salad!
Notes
If you're looking for alternatives, you can use maple syrup instead of honey for a vegan version. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
