Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 medium medium sweet potatoes (about 500 grams) Cooked until fork-tender
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or whole wheat flour) For a healthier option; adjust amount based on moisture content

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Bake or boil the sweet potatoes until they are fork-tender, about 30-40 minutes. Let them cool slightly, then peel.
  3. In a mixing bowl, mash the cooked sweet potatoes until smooth, ensuring there are no lumps.
  4. Gradually add the flour to the mashed sweet potatoes, mixing until a soft dough forms. Adjust with more flour if the dough is too sticky.
  5. Shape the dough into small balls (about 2-3 inches in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until tops are golden brown.
  7. Allow the rolls to cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

These rolls can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to a month; reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
