Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups self-rising flour Use self-rising flour for the best results.
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt Any plain Greek yogurt will work.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt. Stir these together until they form a dough. Don’t worry if it seems a bit sticky; that’s perfectly fine!
  3. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead it gently for about 1 minute until it becomes a smooth ball.
  4. Using your hands or a rolling pin, flatten the dough to about ¾ inch thick. Use a donut cutter or a round cookie cutter to cut out donut shapes.
  5. Arrange your shaped donuts on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little bit of space between them.
Baking
  1. Place them in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 10-12 minutes, or until the donuts are lightly golden on top.
  2. Let them cool a bit, then top with your favorite toppings!

Notes

To extend the goodness of your 2 Ingredient Donuts, place leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze wrapped donuts in plastic for about 2 months. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
