  • 2 pieces ripe bananas Make sure they are very ripe for maximum sweetness.
  • 1 cup self-rising flour Can be substituted with a gluten-free flour blend.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Gradually mix in the self-rising flour until combined. The mixture should be slightly sticky.
  4. With slightly damp hands, roll small portions of the mixture into balls about the size of a tablespoon.
  5. Place the balls on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the donut holes cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

These donut holes are best enjoyed warm. Can be drizzled with honey, sprinkled with cinnamon, or topped with ganache. Store in an airtight container for about 3 days or freeze for up to a month.
