Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, toss the peeled and chopped apples with the cinnamon and optional sugar.
- Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and separate them. Cut each roll into quarters and toss them into a greased 9x13 baking dish.
- On top of the quartered cinnamon rolls, pour the cinnamon-coated apples evenly.
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the rolls are golden and the apples are soft.
- Allow it to cool slightly, then serve warm with a drizzle of icing or a dusting of powdered sugar.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 10 minutes or microwave individual pieces for 30 seconds until heated through.
