  • 1 pound shrimp tails, peeled and deveined Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Can be substituted with butter for a creamier texture.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic adds a fragrant aroma.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Adds nice color and flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Adds brightness to the dish.
  • Fresh parsley for garnish Use fresh for the best flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. If you haven’t already, peel and devein your shrimp tails.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Cooking
  1. Once the oil is hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, or until it becomes fragrant.
  2. Add the shrimp tails to the skillet, season with paprika, salt, and black pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.
  3. Pour lemon juice over the shrimp during the last minute of cooking.
Serving
  1. Take the skillet off the heat. Garnish your shrimp with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days or freeze for up to three months. Reheat in a skillet with a splash of olive oil or butter to retain juiciness.
